How Trees
Are Born

Genre: Early Years Theatre
Age: 2–4
Duration: 25 min + 10 min play
Language: Non-verbal
Synopsis

Once, long ago, there was a round forest in the heart of the city. At its heart stood a hill, next to it an apple tree, and in its shade a little girl rested — after a long day of play: loud, funny, tiring, and endless, but never boring.

The performance is recommended for audiences from the age of one, especially nursery children, though preschoolers are also warmly invited to join the discovery: how are trees born?

The shared experience does not end in the auditorium. After the performance, children and their parents are invited to plant new life together, allowing the magic of the stage to continue growing in real life.

The Genesis
of the World

Genre: Immersive theatre
Age: 8+ / All ages
Duration: 50 min
Language: Non-verbal
Synopsis

The story of creation without words, where every movement tells a story.

The Genesis of the World brings the wonder of creation to life through visual imagery, sound and movement. From the silence of darkness, light slowly emerges; from chaos comes order, and a living world gradually takes shape as the audience experiences the magical rhythm of creation.

The performance creates an immersive, multisensory experience in which images, sounds, light and movement surround the audience. We witness the separation of sky and water, the emergence of dry land, and the gradual spread of plant life. Fish, birds and land animals appear, followed by the arrival of humankind, completing the unfolding of creation.

The visual world combines digital and analogue elements. Rich projected imagery creates an ever-changing environment, while the live human presence of the performers remains at the heart of the experience. Blending seriousness with humor and playfulness, the performance does not offer a single religious or scientific explanation for the origins of the world. Instead, it invites audiences on a shared sensory journey, celebrating the beauty and harmony of the world while gently drawing attention to its fragility.

At the end of this epic journey, everything falls silent. A moment of rest and stillness brings the experience to a close, leaving space for reflection and inviting us to look at the world we inhabit with renewed attention.

Balancing Digital
and Analog Experiences

The digital world and screen use have become an unavoidable part of our lives. Although they are constantly present in our daily routines, it is important to use them consciously — they can never fully replace direct, analog experiences. The Genesis of the World vividly explores this balance.

The accompanying projections provide subtle, atmospheric visuals representing the digital realm, while the theatrical presence and "here-and-now" immediacy remain central on stage through the performers' movement, dance and play. From a pedagogical perspective, the performance encourages young audiences to use digital tools mindfully — technology, when used thoughtfully, can complement our experiences, but can never replace personal, real-life encounters.

Stones

Genre: Youth theatre
Age: 12+
Duration: 50 min
Language: Hungarian with English subtitles
Synopsis

Stones by Tom Lycos and Stefo Nantsou is a gripping, high-impact youth theatre production based on real events. What begins as a seemingly harmless prank between two boys — aged 13 and 15 — spirals into irreversible tragedy when a stone thrown from a bridge causes a fatal accident.

The performance confronts the audience with urgent questions about responsibility, peer pressure, consequences, and moral choice. Told with raw intensity and emotional precision, the piece does not offer easy answers; instead, it invites young audiences to reflect, question, and engage in dialogue — within themselves and with their peers, teachers, and families.

Beyond its theatrical power, Stones has a clear social relevance, contributing to prevention, awareness, and the development of empathy, both on and beyond the stage.
